Michael Shearer OBE, GAICD joins Veracity Worldwide
We are delighted to announce the appointment of Michael Shearer OBE, GAICD as Veracity Senior Counselor, Asia-Pacific. Michael will play an instrumental role in supporting Veracity’s clients and growing Veracity’s business in Japan, where he has lived and worked on and off for nearly three decades, most notably as British Consul-General for Western Japan. Michael will split his time between Japan and Australia, working closely with Veracity's Tokyo-based Senior Counselor, Dr. Noriko Endo, to support the growth of Veracity’s Japan business.

Veracity Worldwide Promotes Benjamin Weiss to Chief Executive Officer
Veracity Worldwide has appointed Benjamin Weiss as chief executive officer. After joining Veracity in 2015, Ben held a succession of research, client management, and global executive positions, and has led the firm’s Asia-Pacific business for the last five years. Prior to joining Veracity, Ben held research roles at prominent think tanks in New Delhi and New York, advised Fortune 500 executives on strategic communications, and worked on Middle East affairs in Washington, DC. He takes over from Jay Truesdale, who will serve as a Veracity senior advisor during the transition.

CENTER FOR STRATEGIC AND INTERNATIONAL STUDIES (CSIS) REPORT: “ENABLING AN ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION OF UKRAINE”
The CSIS Ukraine Economic Reconstruction Commission, whose members include Co-Chair and Veracity Senior Advisor Ambassador Paula Dobriansky and CEO Jay Truesdale, published the results of collaborative research among senior US, G7, and Ukrainian representatives from the private sector, government, and NGOs. The report provides a framework for reconstruction, acknowledging that foreign aid is necessary but insufficient for the task, and highlights the critical role of private investment.

The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) announces Jay Truesdale as member of Ukraine Reconstruction Commission
CSIS revealed the members of its new Ukraine Economic Reconstruction Commission, including Veracity CEO Jay Truesdale. The commission aims to support private sector investment in Ukraine by constructing a policy framework to address issues central to the reconstruction and modernization of its economy. Jay Truesdale joins an impressive selection of senior leaders from the private and public sector, bringing with him his extensive commercial experience as well as his region-specific expertise.

Steven Fox joins CNAS Board of Advisors
Veracity Executive Chairman Steven Fox has joined the board of advisors for the Center for a New American Security, a Washington, D.C.-based think tank specializing in national security issues. Fox joins Drew McKnight, managing partner of Fortress Investment Group, and Mahesh Veerina, CEO of ParkourSC, Inc., as the board's latest members.
